Employer costs for employee compensation in private industries in the Western region of the United States were $28.70 per hour during March.
Costs were highest in the Northeast at $30.56 per hour, according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, and lowest in the South at $23.90 per hour.
