Junior Achievement students from around the world will meet in Colorado Springs Aug. 20 to compete in the final round of the Hewlett Packard Global Business Challenge.

Eight teams of students from Argentina, Azerbaijan, Canada, Estonia, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Poland and the United States will compete.

The competition will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HP campus, 301 Rockrimmon Blvd.

The competition is based on JA Titan, which pits student acting as CEOs of manufacturing companies against each other to compete to earn the highest profit, sales, and market share. Students read and interpret financial reports, and create production, marketing, and finance strategies. The winning team receives a $3,000 cash prize.
