McDonald’s espresso sales plunge

It appears that people are wondering what kind of clown is making the espresso at McDonald’s.
Clusterstock.com is reporting that McDonald’s espresso sales have fallen sharply, and that investors are questioning the logic of entering the espresso business when Starbucks announced the closing of 600 stores across the nation last week.
McDonald’s started selling espresso drinks earlier this year at 1,700 locations, but sales in most markets peaked about three weeks after the launch, then declined.
