Holland and Hart launch subprime mortgage practice

Holland & Hart LLP has formed a new Subprime Mortgage Practice Group.
The Subprime Mortgage Group consists of an interdisciplinary team of attorneys with experience counseling clients about business disputes, litigation and government investigations relating to the subprime mortgage crisis.
“Stories continue to develop daily covering the threatened mortgage market,” said group manager Wiley Mayne. “Holland & Hart has created this industry group to enhance client service through a comprehensive approach to legal issues from both near- and long-term market impacts.”

I worked in the mortgage lending business for 18 years and was appalled that the credit criteria for loans had been so lax for so many years. So many times I wondered when the house of cards would fall given the lack of prudent lending practices. Had we all gone brain dead concerning the past S&L debacle of the mid 80’s?
NOW. Here comes the HERO. Holland & Heart to the rescue! They now are the pros about what should have been done and how they are going to defend the poor victims of the credit crises.
If you believe that then you probably bought the easy credit sale in the first place. Go for it. Jump from the frying pan into the fire and give your last bucks to the ambulance chasers at Holland and Hart.
Where was H&H when the advice could have helped? They don’t have a clue about lending and the result of the credit problem that exists today. Don’t spend your money on these gold diggers.
