SODO nightclub up for revocation

Published July 14, 2008 by CSBJ Staff

Owners of the SODO nightclub, 527 S. Tejon St., will be required to appear before the city’s liquor licensing board on July 18 for a liquor license revocation and suspension hearing.

The dance club is accused of serving alcohol to a “visibly intoxicated person” on March 7.

This is the bar’s first alleged infraction, and liquor licenses are rarely suspended after a first infraction. Warnings are usually issued.

  1. John Gowing says:

This ticket was issued a week after the alleged infraction
The person in question was urinating on the building at 2:40am. He said he was served in SODO, but was not marked or banded to indicate this. So CSPD’s VNI div. wrote this bogas ticket. All of the allegations have been dismissed and we will not be required to appear before the liquor board.
