Comment sought about city’s special events

The Colorado Springs City Council is considering a special events ordinance that could change requirements for emergency medical support and police, traffic and fire permits during events.
City officials are asking for comment about the proposed measure.
Two public forums are planned, one from 6 to 8 p.m. July 7 at fire station No. 19 at 2490 Research Parkway and another from 6 to 8 p.m. July 14 at the Gold Hill Division police department, 955 W. Moreno Street.
