Spectranetics Corp. is ranked 33rd on Fortune Small Business’ annual FSB 100 list of the fastest growing small companies in America.
The list, which is comprised of public companies, appears in the July/August issue of the magazine. It is the third consecutive year in which Spectranetics has appeared.
To compile the annual list, FSB works with financial research firm Zacks to rank public companies with revenue of less than $200 million and a stock price of more than $1, based on their percentage growth in earnings, revenue and stock performance during the past three years. Banks and real estate firms were excluded.
Spectranetics was founded during 1984 and manufactures and sells the only excimer laser approved in the United States, Europe and Japan for use in minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures.
