Vail Resorts to purchase Colorado Mountain Express

Vail Resorts Inc. has agreed to purchase Colorado Mountain Express from East West Resort Transportation Holdings LLC for $40.5 million.
Colorado Mountain Express offers ground transportation from Denver International Airport and Eagle County Airport to Vail, Aspen and Summit County. The vehicle fleet consists of about 250 vans and luxury SUVs.
The transaction is expected to close in late fall, once all conditions have been met including the regulatory approvals.
Vail Resorts operate the mountain resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado, Heavenly in California, Nevada and the Grand Teton Lodge Co. in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
