The Post Time Greyhound Park at the corner of Nevada Avenue and Winters Drive is for sale.

BLB Investors, a Connecticut hotel and casino developer that owns the park, along with four other horse and greyhound racing tracks, is putting all its tracks up for sale.

The tracks include the Arapahoe Park horseracing track in Aurora, the Mile High and Havana greyhound parks in Denver and the Post Time tracks in Pueblo and Colorado Springs.

The properties were purchased as a package from Wembley USA of London in 2005 for $20 million.

At that time, the track employed about 50 people, but since then, the operation has mostly been closed to the public, only offering simulcast racing on Tuesdays.

Cushman Wakefield Commercial Real Estate has listed the 17-acre Colorado Springs Post Time track, which holds attractive M-1 zoning that allows for full industrial use.

Prior to Wembley’s sale of the North Nevada property in 2005, University of Colorado, Colorado Springs Chief Financial Officer Brian Burnett said UCCS had considered the property for a possible campus expansion, but did not pursue it once the sale to BLB Investors was announced.
