Newbrough named Philharmonic director

NEWBROUGH

Nathan Newbrough has been appointed executive director of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra.

He previously was executive director of the Amarillo Symphony, and will replace Susan Greene, who retired in March after five years with the philharmonic.

Newbrough will start in early August.

Before joining the Amarillo Symphony, Newbrough was the executive director of the Orchestra of The Southern Finger Lakes in Elmira, N.Y., and Corning, N.Y. He also has worked with the Greenwich Village Orchestra, the Brooklyn Philharmonic, the North Carolina Symphony and the American Symphony Orchestra League.
