Full work week (again) for Clerk & Recorder

Title company closers, attorneys, auto dealers, married couples-to-be, and undeclared voters, take heart — the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office is now open on Fridays again.
The department’s downtown and Powers Boulevard branches had been closed on Fridays to help the county recoup a nearly $4 million budget shortfall discovered earlier this year.
All county clerk and recorder office hours are now 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Officials re-opened on Fridays to prepare for a busy upcoming primary and general election season and handle the motor vehicle department’s three busiest months of the year.
