Database allows international buyout tracking

Dow Jones Financial Investment Services has launched Private Equity Source – a database that tracks all buyout and growth transactions in the United States and Europe.
The database contains three years of deal data, which covers 7,700 private equity-backed companies and 1,800 investment firms managing more than $1.56 trillion in assets.
Search queries can be tailored to fit such criteria as types of deals – buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings
Searches can be saved, downloaded and shared.
