Weeklong celebration highlights National Tourism Week

Experience Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak will celebrate National Tourism Week on May 10-18 to thank residents and visitors for supporting local tourism.
Travel and tourism is a $1.3 trillion industry in the United States, generating $100 billion in tax revenue. More than 6.3 million visitors travel to Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region each year and spend more than $1 billion. Tourism is the third largest employer in Colorado Springs and provides more than 16,000 jobs to local residents.
