Downtown parking spots reserved for taxis

City traffic engineers have set aside fifteen downtown parking spaces that can only be used by cabs during late evening hours.
Taxi cabs can park in the spaces, which are marked by “Taxi Parking” signs, between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. to pick up and drop off clients.
Tejon Street was converted to a two-way street about one month ago, and traffic engineers said that since then the biggest traffic problem has been taxis backing up traffic whey they stop in front of bars.
