Energy Outreach names new director
Published April 28, 2008 by Rob Larimer
Energy Outreach Colorado has named Pamela Packer as its new director of energy solutions. She replaces Shelly Wallace who moved out of state to pursue other opportunities.
Packer is responsible for EOC’s grants program to increase the energy efficiency of affordable housing, the program to increase the efficiency of non-profit shelters and the Energy Hog program that educates elementary students about the importance of energy management.
Before joining EOC, Packer was a program manager at the Colorado Energy Science Center.
Since 1989, EOC has distributed about $88 million to fund energy bill payment assistance, energy efficiency upgrades for affordable housing and energy efficiency education.

Energy efficiency, whether residential or commercial, is very important these days. Demand response and energy management systems are being offered by a number of large companies, some are even getting paid to make the switch!

Interesting opinions which are diverse and give reason to a great deal of thought.
