Kaiser names new medical director

SPURLOCK
Richard Spurlock has been named medical director for Kaiser Permanente’s Colorado Springs service area.
Spurlock comes from the Colorado Permanente Medical Group, where he was Kaiser’s regional department chief of pathology for the past 13 years.
Spurlock has broad experience in pathology disciplines with board certification in anatomical and clinical pathology, as well as subspecialty certification in cytopathology. He received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine and did his pathology residency and earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of South Florida.
