Residential real estate prices in 25 cities dropped below last year’s level, said Radar Logic Inc. in a monthly report that tracks prices by changes in price-per-square-foot.

Only two markets showed a net appreciation; two markets are neutral and 21 show declines. New York City and Charlotte, N.C., showed slight gains from last year. Sacramento, Las Vegas and San Diego declined more than 20 percent.

Denver, the only Colorado city on the list, ranked 16th with a decline of 9.1 percent from a year earlier.
