SBA Colorado gets new chief executive

Consultant and nonprofit executive Greg Lopez is the new U.S. Small Business Administration director for Colorado.
He succeeds Patricia Barela Rivera who retired after almost 11 years. Lopez will start the job in mid April.
Lopez has served as president and CEO of The Rocky Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council, as a board member and interim president of the Denver Hispanic Chamber. He is also a co-owner of GNL Concepts LLC, a project-management consulting firm.
He’s a former mayor of Parker and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
