ICE office coming in November
Published March 26, 2008 by CSBJ Staff
An Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office will open in El Paso County by the first of November, rather than early 2009 as previously expected, Federal officials told commissioners this week.
The local ICE office is expected to have 10 staff members who will look for illegal aliens. The office will also deal with cyber crimes and child pornography cases, as well as human and drug trafficking.
A location for the office has not been named.
