84 Lumber closing in Springs

An 84 Lumber Co. retail center at 625 N. Murray Blvd. will close, reperesentatives said this week.
The closure is one of nine in six markets, and the company’s operations will be consolidated in Henderson, Colo.
The Springs location employed only four people, who are expected to either relocate with the company or to find new jobs elsewhere.
The retailer also plans to cut 28 positions at its corporate headquarters in Pennsylvania.
