Airline promotions often include bonus frequent flier miles or limited-time-only fare discounts, but Las Vegas show tickets?
Evidently the marketing folks at Allegiant Air, LLC have decided to partner with the popular Blue Man Group show that appears regularly at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas to offer air, hotel and show ticket packages.
Beginning this week, customers can purchase tickets to Blue Man Group directly, either by booking through the Allegiant Web site or at some airport locations.
Purchasers will receive priority seating, a gift bag valued at more than $50 and the chance to meet a Blue Man after the show in the Allegiant VIP Lounge.
The new promotion could help boost enplanements from the Colorado Springs Airport, which in January reported 3,542 Colorado Springs fliers flew to Las Vegas, off 8.3 percent on a year-over-year basis.
