O’Connell leaving Penrose-St. Francis

Rick O’Connell, president and CEO of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services, resigned today citing “personal reasons.”

O’Connell will continue to act as a consultant for the hospital system’s special projects, including the grand opening of the new St. Francis Medical Center. The $207 million full-service hospital will open in August.
