Coleman leaving Penrose-St. Francis

The chief operating officer at Penrose-St. Francis Health Services has accepted a position as president and chief executive officer of Trinity Regional Health System in Rock Island, Ill.
Andrea Coleman will resign her position at Penrose-St. Francis effective Feb. 28. She has been the COO since April 2005.
While at Penrose-St. Francis, Coleman was instrumental in developing several key service lines, notably cardiac and oncology. She also played a key role in establishing the hospital’s Cardiac Council, implementing the Vascular Center of Colorado and recruiting new physicians.
Trinity Regional Health System is a three-campus, non-profit health care system and an affiliate of Iowa Health System based in Des Moines.
