Gov. Ritter, Colorado Counties Inc. conference in Springs this week

Gov. Bill Ritter will give the keynote address during the Colorado Counties, Inc. 100th Annual Conference in Colorado Springs on Tuesday.
The conference will be held Nov. 27 and 28 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 2888 S. Circle Drive.
Gov. Ritter is expected to discuss healthcare, transportation and education.
On Nov. 28, there will be a 9 a.m. presentation of the recommendations of the Transportation and Finance Implementation Panel from State Treasurer Cary Kennedy and Colorado Transportation Director Russ George followed by final recommendations from the SB 208 Health Care Finance Panel at 10:30 a.m. A panel of state and local officials will discuss severance tax and mineral lease revenues after a lunch break
More than 350 county commissioners and other public officials are expected to attend the conference.
