Wealthy Americans have a lot more spending cash these days.

Springs among state’s biggest water savers

An independent policy group has given Colorado Springs high marks for its strides in water conservation.
Springs’ single-family residential per capita water use decreased 32 percent since 2000, according to a report released this week from Western Resource Advocates.

URS 3Q profit grows 29%

International engineering giant URS Corp. reported revenue growth for the third quarter of 29 percent or $1.27 billion.
The San Francisco-based company is one of the largest engineering design firms worldwide, with 370 offices in the U.S. and in more than 20 countries.
The firm is working on about 35 projects in Southern Colorado.
