Water Works salutes veterans with free car wash

This Veterans Day, Nov. 11th, all Colorado Springs Water Works Car Wash locations will give free car washes to military veterans.
No I.D. is required to get the free wash.
“Your word is all we need to give you the wash for free,” said Water Works CEO Jim Spinato.
The free washes will offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at any of the three Water Works locations, Nevada Avenue and Cimarron Street, La Montana Way near Vickers Drive and Academy Boulevard, and Academy Boulevard at Uintah Street.

Although we did not use this service, I read about it in the Sunday, November 11 Gazette. It was a wonderful tribute to our men in present day uniform or retired.
