Recreation fees waived for veterans

The Bureau of Land Management will waive recreation-related fees for Veterans, military personnel and their families on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11.
Entrance and standard fees will be waived for public recreation lands, including National Parks and U.S. Fish and Wildlife and Forest Service lands.
“This is a small, but special way of saying thanks to all who have served or are currently serving to defend our country and safeguard our liberties,” said BLM Director Jim Caswell.
