Gasoline prices begin winter ascent

Gas prices increased by about 5 cents during the past two weeks, to an average of $2.80 per gallon of self-serve regular, according to the Lundberg Survey released this week.

Single family home building declines approach 50%

Cumulative declines in single-family construction and building permit authorizations is approaching 50 percent, said David Seiders, chief economist for the National Association of Home Builders.

SBA hands out $20.6B in 110,000 loans this year

AMEC wins Air Force Academy contracts worth $21 million

AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, has been selected for eight project management awards totalling $21.7 million at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
The awards amount to two stream restoration projects through the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment and six building renovation projects through the Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency.
