Sears bringing back holiday catalog

Published October 4, 2007 by CSBJ Staff

After a 14-year absence, Sears Holdings Corp. is reviving its annual holiday catalog the Sears Wish Book.

This time, the catalog will also be in virtual form at Sears.com. The online Wish Book is not up and running yet, but customers will soon get a sneak peak at the top 100 wish big items.

Half the catalog will be devoted to toys, while the remainder will range from appliances and tools to clothes and jewelry, according to Chain Store Age, an online resource for retail executives.

The new catalog will be much smaller with 188 pages instead of the traditional 832. Free catalogs can be ordered online.
