Office pranks can be a stress reliever

Our office has a few pranksters in it, and the pranks come in phases. Few people are immune, and some people, especially the publisher, are a constant target. Who needs to be pranked in your office?
We’ve got the usual missing mice, leaping surprises, and joy buzzers (proximity to Zeezo’s helps). Don’t take a vacation, or you’ll come back to a desk covered in post-its or some tasteless wallpaper on your computer.
Currently we’re experiencing a lull in pranks, but i think that’s about to end… but we could use some ideas…
What’s the best prank your office has pulled off?
Are pranks banned at your office?

So what was your publishers favorite prank played on him?
When I picked up a piece of paper there was a special prank of a cap explosion going off that scared me pretty well.
Better yet I got some staffers with a shocking laser pointer several times.
Here are some good office pranks (of which I’ve never, ever been involved in any of them - just heard they were funny)
1. Skip the missing mouse prank and put the mouse in a jello mold and return it to the desk. It’ll cost you $10 for a new mouse, but worth it.
2. Get about 100 plastic cups and fill them with water so that they are so full they will spill if they are bumped, then set them on every available surface in the office.
3. Take empty cardboard boxes, like the U-Haul moving boxes and fill the entire office with them, leaving just enough room to open the door.
4. Access their computer, and in MS Word open the Auto Correct feature within spellchecker. Think of some commonly used words around the office (like the boss’ name) and change the auto correct function so that everytime the victim types in the boss’ name it corrects it to the word of your choice. For example, the victim types, “I spoke with Lon about this earlier and am CC’ing him.” But what comes out is “I spoke with Jack@ss earlier and am CC’ing him.” The genius of this is that because Outlook uses MS Word as it’s editor, it changes email messages as well. It’s guaranteed to bring some good laughs at the next staff meeting when Lon is chewing out your victim for calling him names.
